Description:
PHPA LV is a low molecular weight dry granular PHPA copolymer, designed to provide inhibition of clay and shale formations in water-based drilling fluids without substantially increasing viscosity. PHPA LV is an easy mixing polymer.

Application:
PHPA LV provides excellent cuttings encapsulation by adsorbing onto the clay surfaces and forming a protective film that prevents cuttings from sticking to each other or the shaker screen. When added to bentonite, PHPA LV produces an inhibitive drilling fluids system without affecting fluids properties.
